Jaime Sanchez - Founder

Jaime Sanchez

Jaime Sanchez, ND has been a dedicated yoga instructor since 1964. He has learned the Solar, Iyengar and Sivananda methods in courses in North America, South America and Spain. He has extensively studied yoga philosophy and Sanskrit.

His yoga teacher training is an internationally recognized certification course, which is registered with the Yoga Alliance. Jaime is passionate about teaching the skills necessary to practice hatha yoga safely and effectively.

Jaime has been a naturopath since 1995. He studied acupuncture in mainland China with Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He started practicing yoga at the age of eight and became a yoga teacher in Venezuela in 1967. He taught Yoga for 10 years at Saint Louis University and Christian Hospital, is a Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher (500 hours), founder of a number of yoga and wellness centers in Venezuela and America and is an East West Natural Healing, Inc. International lecturer in Spain, Mexico, Venezuela China and the USA. He runs the oldest yoga teacher training program in St. Louis.

Siriatma Kaur - Instructor



Siri Atma completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at University of Missouri Saint Louis in 2005. In 2012 she completed Yoga Teacher Training through West-East Natural Healing, and graduated with a 200 hour certification to teach, recognized by Yoga Alliance. She then continued her studies in 2013, and began Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training at Sat Tirath Ashram in Kansas City, MO.

Siri Atma teaches Hatha & Kundalini Yoga classes and private instruction throughout the St. Louis area, works with healing those with addictions, and has served as the administrator of all West-East Natural Healing programs for over one year.

Dr. Daniel Fazio – Anatomy Instructor

Dr. Fazio completed his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration at University of Missouri St Louis in 2001, during which he double majored in Management and Organizational Behavior and in Marketing. In 2005, he continued his studies at Logan College of Chiropractic, where he studied Human Biology, Chiropractic, Nutrition and Acupuncture.  There, he received a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology in 2007 and a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2009. Dr. Fazio provides chiropractic and acupuncture treatments as well as nutrition and lifestyle counseling at Roots of Wellness Chiropractic & Holistic Therapies and has been providing anatomy instruction at our Yoga Teacher Certification Courses for four years.

Susan Steiger Tebb, Ph.D., L.S.W., RYT


Sue, Professor, School of Social Work Saint Louis University has centered her research around family caregiving. As a social worker for more than forty years she has worked with diverse family configurations and lately her research , knowledge and skill training has taken her into using yoga in the healing process. She is a LifeForce Yoga Practitioner Level Two and holds a Certificate of Completion in Therapeutic Yoga for Seniors from Duke Integrative Medicine.   She has offered a number of presentations and workshops on how to incorporate yoga into mental health care.



Kaycie Metzelaars graduated from the University of Portland, OR in 2010 with a B.A. in philosophy and psychology. She taught in Baton Rouge, LA for two years in Teach For America, and decided to leave the world of public education in order to pursue a passion for teaching Yoga and practicing the healing arts of Reiki, reflexology and intuitive Tarot reading.

Kaycie teaches a variety of styles including Vinyasa, Hatha, Iyengar, and restorative Yoga. She also offers private Yoga and healing sessions with an emphasis on balancing the subtle energies of the body through Yoga, breath work, Reiki, guided meditation and reflexology.

Kaycie operates a Yoga studio in Effingham, IL and enjoys traveling for workshops and speaking opportunities. She focuses on making Yoga approachable for everyone and enjoys helping people learn the art of relaxation and self healing. She loves meeting new people and welcomes travelers and seekers to visit her small town community as a restful and restorative getaway destination.
