Tai Chi & Qi Gong are centuries-old mind-body awareness practices. Both involve linking postures and gentle movements to improve mental focus, breathing, and relaxation. The movements can be adapted or practiced while walking, standing, or sitting.
In this introductory workshop, you'll learn how to improve your balance and stability with the fundamentals of each. Both Tai Chi & Qi Gong help to reduce back pain and that of osteoarthritis as well as fibromyalgia which make both popular mindfulness activities with seniors, though the overall benefits of lowering blood pressure and reducing stress and anxiety promote quality of life for all.
Join Dr. Jaime Sanchez on May 19th for a day of learning where we will spend half the workshop learning from the master himself then putting theory into practice together. Breaks included every hour.
Please RSVP on our website and bring a meal for yourself to enjoy at lunchtime with the group!
